WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange had the entire world waiting with baited breath for what was being called a ‘devastating’ revelation at WikiLeaks’ 10 year anniversary celebration in Berlin, via live video feed from his residence at the Ecuadorian embassy in London.
Journalists and news junkies around the globe awoke at all hours of the night to tune in to live coverage of one of the most anticipated press conferences of the year.
Assange’s “October Surprise” was a trainwreck from start to finish. The production quality was worse than access television, and no new information was released after nearly two hours of mumbling, stuttering, and product pitching. One has to wonder how badly WikiLeaks’ credibility has been damaged.
We have all been trolled.
